BOOKMARK was delighted to welcome back Alan Riach from the University of Glasgow to introduce the new collection of poems from The Hunterian Museum Collection. Alan, Christine De Luca, Diana Hendry and Hamish Whyte read a number of poems relating to The History of the World in Objects and Poems from The Hunterian Collection at the University of Glasgow. Alan, who was extremely delighted with the afternoon, commented that ‘BOOKMARK is the best small Book Festival in Scotland’ - high acclaim indeed from such an eminent scholar.
