Kirstie Campbell

Kirstie is a socially engaged craft practitioner; a professional embroidery tutor and was the stitching co-ordinator for the Spirit of the Highlands and Islands Tapestry, opening in Inverness Castle in 2025. She appears at events and workshops across Scotland, and has exceptional access to and knowledge of crafting and sewing communities throughout the UK. She has a first-class BA Hons in Embroidery from Manchester School of Art, and decades of experience in Embroidery & textile design and teaching - most recently as a Designer & Educator at V&A Museum Dundee. She is currently studying for an MRes at Glasgow School of Art, researching connections between hand stitching, mindfulness, and women's wellbeing, through a heritage lens.
