Ambrose Parry

Ambrose Parry is the pen-name for two authors: the best-selling crime novelist Chris Brookmyre and Dr Marisa Haetzman, a consultant anesthetist of over 20 years’ experience. The couple teamed up to write their series of historical crime thrillers, featuring Dr Raven and Sally Fisher. Their 4 books are set in the Edinburgh of the mid nineteenth century: a city enlightened by Dr Simpson’s new medical advances but darkened by body-snatchers.
